Job Description
Wheeler Staffing Partners is hiring an Audit Manager with a consulting services client in Richardson, TX. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for orchestrating the entire audit process, from planning and execution to the delivery of high-quality audit and assurance services. Your strategic insights, managerial expertise, and comprehensive understanding of audit methodologies will guide the team in delivering insightful reports to management, the Board of Directors, and governance stakeholders

- Organize, plan, and manage financial statement audits and related services in alignment with established audit plans.
- Lead and supervise the audit process, identifying entity risks and developing comprehensive testing procedures to assess control adequacy.
- Document evaluation results and formulate policy recommendations based on findings.
- Develop and implement professional development and training plans for audit team members.
- Strategically allocate resources and staff based on skills and schedules to ensure efficient audit execution.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality audit and assurance services, culminating in the presentation of final reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Assign staff to audits and projects according to their skill, knowledge, and experience levels.
- Cultivate expertise in GAAP guidelines, reimbursement methodologies, audit techniques, and strong communication skills.
- Maintain professional competence through continuing education, literature review, and networking.
- Perform other duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the firm.
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience
- Bachelor's or higher in Accounting or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred
- Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Office
- Must be willing to work onsite
