Apple/Mac Support Technician – VIP Desk-Side Support (Contract)
Location: Renton, WA 98057
Schedule: Monday – Friday, ~7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Contract Term: 2 months (Contract Only)
Pay Rate: $32 – $45 per hour (based on experience)
Travel: Required between multiple buildings on campus; some local travel possible
Sponsorship: Not available; no OPT or visa sponsorship candidates considered

About the Role
Wheeler Staffing Partners is hiring an experienced Apple/Mac Support Technician – VIP Desk-Side Support on behalf of a client in Renton, WA. This contract-only position offers a unique opportunity to work directly with C-suite and executive leadership in a professional healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong Mac desktop support experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and a professional presence appropriate for high-level, customer-facing support.

This is a fully onsite role requiring travel within a business park campus and occasional travel in the surrounding area.
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site, white-glove desk-side support for Apple devices including MacBooks, iPhones, and iPads

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues for end users and VIP stakeholders

  • Support network connectivity issues (Wi-Fi and wired), with coordination as needed with network engineers

  • Prioritize time-sensitive issues and manage tasks independently

  • Deliver exceptional service to executive users, including C-suite leadership

  • Maintain professional communication with stakeholders and teammates

  • Document support activity in accordance with client guidelines

  • Travel between multiple buildings within the Renton campus and nearby locations as required
Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of Apple/Mac desktop support experience

  • Proficiency in MacOS, iOS, and Apple hardware troubleshooting

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional presence is essential

  • Experience working with or knowledge of MDM platforms such as Jamf (hands-on not required)

  • Prior experience in a healthcare or highly regulated environment preferred

  • Self-starter with effective time management skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment
Compliance Requirements
Due to the nature of the work environment (healthcare), the following are required upon offer:

  • Background check and drug screen

  • Required vaccinations, including:

  • Tuberculosis (TB) test

  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)

  • Varicella (Chickenpox)

  • Pertussis

  • Influenza

  • COVID-19 vaccine

Note: The client will cover the cost of all required vaccinations.
Important Notes

  • This is a contract-only opportunity lasting approximately 2 months

  • Must be local to Renton, WA and available to travel onsite daily
