Job Description
Job Title: Administrative Nursing Director – Surgical Services
Location: Tucson, AZ
Employment Type: Direct Hire | Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift (Director-level, 24/7 departmental responsibility)
Salary Range: $120,000 – $180,000 annually
Relocation: Open to relocation candidates
Position Summary:
The Administrative Nursing Director will collaborate with leadership to establish and implement transformative service line growth strategies, operational plans, and performance analytics. This role ensures service lines evolve to meet strategic market imperatives, deliver exceptional patient outcomes, support organizational growth, and enhance access to care.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute strategically oriented, consumer-focused service line strategies that optimize physician engagement and achieve sustainable financial performance.

Collaborate across hospitals, ambulatory clinics, urgent care centers, and surgical centers to ensure service line alignment and growth.

Partner with administrative leadership to develop business cases for CAPEX investments, optimizing resources and asset utilization.

Serve as a critical member of the Market leadership team, leveraging market insights to inform annual service line strategy and integrate with business planning.

Drive operational execution, monitor outcomes, and analyze results to ensure strategic goals are achieved.
Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Healthcare, or related field, or equivalent experience

Experience: Minimum 3 years in a management role within an acute care hospital, ambulatory center, or healthcare organization, including experience in physician relations, program development, and strategic planning
Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or Healthcare
- Experience in leading service line growth initiatives and cross-functional teams
