Location: Meriden, CT
Employment Type: Contract (Open-Ended; Potential for Permanent Conversion)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Work Environment: Fully Onsite
Pay Rate: $25 – $29 per hour

Overview
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Loan Operations Specialist, Partial Release for an onsite, long-term contract opportunity in Meriden, CT. This role supports loan operations through detailed document review, research, and partial release processing. The ideal candidate brings strong title insurance experience and a solid background in mortgage operations.

Responsibilities
  • Perform partial releases and conduct related research, including easements, eminent domain, legal description corrections, community re-plats, and other real property reviews.
  • Correspond with borrowers, title companies, and state representatives to gather information, resolve issues, and advance the process.
  • Engage the internal legal team when necessary to support resolutions.
  • Review, analyze, cross-check, and validate documentation and data with high accuracy.
  • Maintain tasks and workflows to ensure deadlines and accuracy requirements are met.
  • Prepare written reports and professional correspondence as needed.
  • Check and edit legal forms and documents for completeness and accuracy.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or paralegal studies certification; equivalent job experience accepted (preferred).
  • Title insurance experience required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of related experience required.
  • Mortgage industry experience preferred.
  • Understanding of partial release processes is a plus.


Skills & Competencies
  • Strong working knowledge of mortgage lending and loan servicing preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
