About the Role
Wheeler Staffing Partners is hiring a fully remote IDR Refund Compliance Manager to oversee and manage refund processes for a leading healthcare organization. This role is critical to ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant refund resolutions while collaborating with internal leadership and external stakeholders.

This position reports directly to the VP, Controller.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end refund processes including approvals, disputes, and resolutions

  • Communicate with external clients, arbitrators, and third parties to resolve issues

  • Ensure timely, fair, and policy-compliant resolutions

  • Track and analyze refund metrics, preparing reports for leadership review

  • Maintain documentation for audits and compliance reporting

  • Identify and implement process improvements

  • Support cross-functional teams with updates and reprioritization of tasks

  • Assist with arbitration and independent dispute resolution procedures

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in compliance or refund management

  • Experience with Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) required

  • Leadership experience preferred

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Familiarity with arbitration processes and regulatory compliance

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access) and Power BI

  • Knowledge of laws and regulations related to communication and privacy
