We are seeking highly skilled Access Control Technicians to join our operations in the Dallas, TX area. This role involves performing advanced security system installations and assisting in supervising access control and CCTV installation teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing and servicing Access Control, CCTV, Burglar, and Fire Alarms in a commercial setting.

Main Responsibilities:

• 
  Installation: Perform professional installation of cabling, access control components, CCTV systems, and motion/intrusion/alarm systems. Uphold the highest industry standards and ensure team compliance with professional standards.
• 
  Hand Tools and Inventory: Operate various hand tools safely, work at heights on ladders and lifts, maintain accurate truck inventory, and adhere to safety standards on-site and off-site.
• 
  Documentation: Conduct computer program entry as required and prepare detailed documentation to ensure compliance with regulations and effective communication of information.
• 
  Communication: Maintain respectful communication with all coworkers and Project Lead, documenting daily progress and necessary information.
• 
  Work Planning: Read and comprehend technical drawings, project documentation, and work orders, including scope of work, ensuring accurate and efficient execution of tasks.
• 
  Customer Service: Maintain consistent communication with the Project Coordinator, Branch Manager, and customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• 
  Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of direct work experience in CCTV installation, with demonstrable expertise in Access Control, CCTV, Burglar, and Fire Alarm systems within commercial environments.
• 
  Licenses and Certifications:
  
  • Valid driver's license in the state of application.
  • Ability to meet company driving standards.
  • Relevant certifications in security system installation and maintenance (preferred).
• 
  Technical Skills:
  
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to security system installations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
  • Strong computer skills for program entry and documentation purposes.
• 
  Physical Requirements:
  
  • Ability to lift and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Capability to work from ladders or man lifts at extended heights.
  • Comfort with standing for long periods and performing overhead work for extended durations.
  • Ability to differentiate colors for wiring and installations.
•
