Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Scheduler for a Home Health role in St. Paul, MN. This position is on-site, working Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with a rotating weekend shift every 10th weekend. Ideal candidates will have previous healthcare scheduling experience, preferably in a high-volume home health setting, and possess excellent communication and customer service skills.

Employment Type: Contract to Hire
Location: St. Paul, MN
Position Overview:
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Scheduler for a Home Health role in St. Paul, MN. This position is on-site, working Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with a rotating weekend shift every 10th weekend. Ideal candidates will have previous healthcare scheduling experience, preferably in a high-volume home health setting, and possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling Coordination: Efficiently map out appointments, coordinating schedules to prevent overlaps, such as not scheduling an RN and PT at the same time.
- High-Volume Scheduling: Manage a scheduling census of 200-300 patients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Administrative Support: Provide support to back-office staff as needed and assist with various administrative duties.
- Client & Staff Communication: Communicate effectively with clients and staff to confirm appointments, reschedule as needed, and address any issues that may arise.
- Report Preparation: Generate and manage reports accurately and on time.
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Utilize Homecare Homebase or similar EMR systems to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Problem Solving & Organization: Use critical thinking and organizational skills to handle fast-paced, high-volume tasks and unexpected challenges.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Prior scheduling experience in the healthcare industry, ideally in a home health setting. Volume scheduling experience is preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel), strong customer service abilities, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Critical Thinking: Ability to make quick, strategic decisions in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
- Technical Proficiency: Tech-savvy, with solid computer skills and experience in scheduling software or EMR systems.
Compensation: $20 - $24 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
