HR Credentialing Coordinator

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking detail-oriented and proactive HR Credentialing Coordinators to join our team. This role involves overseeing the onboarding process for scribe employees, maintaining employee records, ensuring medical compliance, and managing personnel-related activities. Ideal candidates will have experience with criminal background reports, basic administrative skills, and the ability to manage a high volume of tasks.
Essential Functions:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure successful completion of hiring prerequisites.
- Process all background checks specific to client or company onboarding requirements.
- Liaise with background check, medical service, and third-party vendors.
- Create and maintain accounts related to the background check portion of the onboarding process.
- Coordinate and ensure all scribes are medically compliant according to facility requirements.
- Stay updated with new compliance rules and applicable regulatory changes to maintain compliance.
- Act as the point of contact for employees by answering and responding to field requests and questions.
- Serve as a point of contact for cross-department problem-solving.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as needed by HR department management.
Required Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of professional and/or customer service experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of HR onboarding experience.
- Experience with MS Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with Google Sheets is required.
- Basic administrative skills and the ability to manage a high volume of tasks.
- Experience with criminal background reports and reading background checks.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
- Ability to work remotely with reliable internet access.

Remote Work:
- The employee may work remotely from their home office.
- Must have a private and dedicated office space for conducting company business without interruption.
- Must have reliable telephone service and internet access capable of supporting video conferencing.
- Technology suitable for printing, faxing, and/or scanning is required (at employee's cost).
- A company laptop will be provided for all work-related tasks.
