Project Manager/Business Analyst - IT Solutions

Employment Type: Direct Hire
Location: Fully Remote (CST/EST preferred)
Salary: $100k - $125k with 5% bonus

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager/Business Analyst for our IT Solutions team. This role is responsible for ensuring technology projects and business applications support the efforts of employees and customers, aligning with the overall company goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing projects from start to finish, with a focus on systems experience, SQL Server, and Agile methodology.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work with business users, technology team, and external clients/vendors to identify and understand business needs related to data acquisition, delivery, and reporting.
  • Elicit, analyze, and validate requirements, understand dependencies, and perform gap analysis.
  • Document reporting requirements and specifications, and provide them to all stakeholders for approval.
  • Coordinate closely with developers to ensure requirements are communicated and implemented.
  • Document and provide walk-throughs of reporting definitions and reports/metrics to users.
  • Work closely with business users to verify business requirements are met and assist them with testing.
  • Become the subject matter expert on internal data needs and dependencies.
  • Manage reporting inventory to remove or replace unused/outdated reports and metrics.
  • Adopt Agile methodology, apply its principles, and train users.
  • Identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive).
  • Assist in tracking the progress of deliverables and communicating updates.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business and IT users, both onshore and offshore.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
  • 5+ years as an IT Business Analyst focused on data management and reporting.
  • 3+ years working with Healthcare or Financial data.
  • 2+ years writing basic SQL Server queries.
  • 1+ years using Agile methodology.
  • Strong experience working with database and report developers.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and communicate progress across projects.
  • Ability to coordinate and collaborate with other team members and business owners.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to understand details but also summarize.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Skills/Specialized Knowledge:
  • Proficient with MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient with project management tools such as MS Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, Monday, or similar.
  • Familiar with EHR, EMR, PM, and/or other common physician practice software.
  • Ability to develop and communicate KPIs.
  • Ability to perform process decomposition.
  • Ability to develop SharePoint workflows and templates.
