Position Summary
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Physical Therapist Center Director / Physical Therapist to lead and provide rehabilitative services for patients at two outpatient therapy centers in Georgia. This role combines hands-on patient care with center leadership responsibilities, overseeing clinical operations, staff development, and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
The centers focus on orthopedic and work-related injuries, helping patients recover mobility, reduce pain, and return to work safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care 100% of the time while leading by example.

Supervise therapy staff and manage clinical outcomes, addressing outlier cases as needed.

Ensure clinical workflows optimize patient intake, referrals, scheduling, and documentation.

Execute individualized therapy plans with a focus on early intervention and same-day evaluation.

Foster a professional and collaborative work environment promoting teamwork, patient safety, and quality outcomes.

Build and maintain relationships with employers, referral sources, and payer groups.

Ensure compliance with state licensing, occupational health standards, and relevant regulations.

Utilize clinical systems for documentation, coding, charge capture, and follow-through on patient care orders.

Actively participate in leadership meetings to improve quality, patient safety, and operational performance.

Manage staffing levels, staff proficiency, and workflow efficiency to optimize patient satisfaction.

Promote staff development and success through performance management, recognition, and professional growth.

Support financial performance by understanding center metrics and contributing to budget management.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Physical Therapy (Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred) from an accredited institution.

Licensure: Must meet state licensure requirements in Georgia.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Demonstrated clinical knowledge of physical therapy services and staff leadership.

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information (HIPAA/PHI compliance).

Strong dedication to patient care, team development, and operational excellence.
