Job Title: Payroll Systems Analyst – Oracle
Location: Frisco, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Contract (Open-Ended)
Pay Rate: $38–$46/hour
Work Setting: 100% Onsite
Wheeler Staffing Partners is hiring a Payroll Systems Analyst to join a dynamic payroll systems support team in Frisco, TX. This contract role is onsite and open-ended, offering a hands-on opportunity with a high-performing healthcare organization that supports over 100,000 employees across 200+ facilities.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and analytical individual with strong Oracle HCM experience and the ability to tackle high-volume manual payment tasks, research discrepancies, and support payroll system testing and adjustments.
Key Responsibilities:

Support high-volume payroll processes including manual payments, “push to debit” transactions, and termination payouts

Conduct in-depth research and issue resolution related to payroll discrepancies and system errors

Perform system testing and assist with payroll updates, upgrades, and user acceptance testing

Maintain weekly payroll data entry and perform regular audit functions

Collaborate with facility payroll teams to ensure proper processing and rollback of incorrect entries

Provide ongoing support for payroll users across multiple locations and systems

Develop ad hoc reporting and assist with special projects as needed

Uphold compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations
-
Deliver training and guidance to users regarding system changes

Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive payroll information

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience)

2+ years of payroll/HRIS experience in a multi-state environment

Proficiency in Oracle HCM for payroll processing (required)

Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook

Deep understanding of UB-04 claim forms and complex reimbursement rules

Ability to analyze and resolve moderately complex payroll system issues

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Self-starter who can work independently and within a collaborative team setting

Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare environment

Familiarity with Vertex, ADP SmartCompliance, and Kronos Time & Attendance

Experience with payroll tax compliance, benefits, and wage/hour laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, etc.)
