Job Description
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Marketing Data Analyst. The Marketing Analyst will gather, interpret, and use complex data to develop actionable steps that will improve processes and optimize marketing results. Day-to-day, this role will assess company and franchisee needs, receive robust information, and analyze it, looking for telltale trends or areas for improvement. Ultimately, this role will help the company ensure we spend our marketing budget efficiently by reporting and informing key stakeholders on trends and the impact it has on the company and franchisees. The ability to work a hybrid schedule in Irvine, CA is required.Â

Essential Job Functions:
- Collect, summarize, and assess information to measure the effectiveness of each media channel of local, regional, and national impact on franchisee success.
- Develop dashboards that summarize key performance indicators and trends for the brand and its competitors across retailers and channels.
- Report on and provide insights on marketing KPIs such as leads, conversion rates, website traffic, social media engagement, and others.
- Implement and QA proper campaign tracking on new and existing initiatives by assigning campaign parameters.
- Pull raw data files from the database, in addition to scrubbing, merging, and uploading data.
- Create ad hoc reports gathering insights from syndicated and secondary data to address specific business questions.
- Communicate with vendors on the latest initiatives to help explain trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Proactively mine and assess databases to develop storytelling insights to inform stakeholders on business and performance trends, alert them of irregularities in the data, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor budget distribution and performance of paid ad campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent is a must. Must possess strong analytical, statistical, and broad mathematical skills.
- Ability to work onsite / hybrid schedule in Irvine, CA
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics (must be certified), and PowerPoint
- Experience in Google Data Studio or other data visualization is preferred.
- Extreme attention to detail, especially when processing data, feedback, and proofreading. Must be a strong time manager and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be able to communicate with all levels of management (to include Sr. Executives)
- Display sound judgment; initiative; flexibility; detail-orientation; and problem-solving skills
