Financial Analyst II

Job Summary: Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Financial Analyst II for a hybrid role, with in-office days on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Irving, TX. The Financial Analyst II will compile and analyze financial information for the company, develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations. This role is responsible for creating and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, ensuring the accuracy of financial information, and performing financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
Job Duties:
- Develop and produce company and department budgets, and analyze variances.
- Create and maintain financial models.
- Develop and produce forecasted financials and presentation materials.
- Manage individual projects as assigned.
- Perform ad hoc projects related to forecasting, budgeting, and other financial areas, summarizing results through verbal, written, and formal presentation techniques.
- Develop recommendations to improve the company’s financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as safety, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.Â
- Minimum of two (2+) years of direct related experience.
- Strong analytical and planning abilities.
- Proficiency in mathematical and statistical analysis, data mining, and creating spreadsheets and graphic illustrations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Results-oriented and highly organized.
