This key position blends strategic in-office tasks with significant field engagement, requiring travel across the expansive Chicago area. You will lead a team of Hospice Sales Consultants, enhancing their effectiveness through direct involvement in client meetings, branch operations, and strategic sales initiatives. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Direct and mentor a team of Hospice Sales Consultants to excel in their sales targets and client service.
- Engage in field activities such as ride-alongs and client consultations to provide hands-on coaching and performance enhancement.
- Regularly visit branches to ensure they align with organizational goals and standards, addressing any operational issues.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare community to enhance referral networks and client engagement.
- Partner with the Executive Director to set ambitious sales objectives, devising strategies and monitoring their execution and success.
- Lead training sessions on the referral, intake, and admissions processes to ensure team proficiency and cohesion.
- Stay updated on hospice industry standards and practices to maintain professional and clinical excellence.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and develop targeted strategies for market growth.
- Collaborate with regional leadership to deploy initiatives aimed at boosting the organization's market presence and sales results.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
- Extensive experience in hospice, home health, healthcare sales, or community outreach.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
- Strong leadership qualities, with a track record of motivating and guiding sales teams to achieve excellent results.
- In-depth knowledge of local healthcare markets and referral dynamics.
- Proficiency in designing and delivering educational content to clients and referral partners.
- Willingness to undertake significant travel throughout the designated region.
